7. Diculty Settings
Before you start any mission in Rise of Flight, you can choose various settings that
aect the complexity level. We divided them into several presets that help you
quickly choose a desired level of realism. Just choose one in the drop down list.
The preset level of complexity will be saved automatically. However, if you wish to
make a custom complexity level, you can just select Custom and select the
appropriate items. The changes will be saved automatically. This will allow you to
create a level of realism that you are most comfortable with.
Gameplay
• Friendly icons - Allied planes and objects are marked in Blue.
• Enemy icons – Enemy planes and objects are marked in Red.
• Navigation icons - Colored markers and symbols that point the way to
various waypoints and mission objectives.
• Far object icons on map - Marks all objects of the mission in the in-ight
map, regardless of your distance to them
Simplications
• Simplied physics – The complex physics of ight are reduced and the
number of physical forces acting on your aircraft is lessoned making
ying easier. The calculations of ight parameters are simplied.
• No wind – The eect of wind and turbulence is not modeled.
• No misre – Your weapons do not misre or jam when shooting.
• Safety collisions - Collisions with objects or surfaces do not damage the
aircraft or the pilot.
• Invulnerability against weapons - Enemy re does not cause damage to
your aircraft or the pilot.
• Unlimited fuel - Endless supply of fuel.
• Unlimited ammo - Innite supply of ammunition.
• No engine overow - Negative G-loads during aerobatics do not aect
the delivery of fuel into the engine.
• Warmed up engine – Your engine is warmed up to the optimal temperature
from the start of the mission.
Pilot Help
• Easy Piloting - Includes a system of automatic assistance in piloting.
Makes ying much easier.
